Microsoft Word App Reviews

I am happy with the free version. I love being able to have certain documents available when out without internet. I find this to be invaluable. However, as much as I desire to have the full version, as stated by someone else, if there was a one time fee, I would most likely purchase it. It is unfortunate I am unable to afford the monthly cost. Even if it was at a lesser cost per month I would consider it because I do really very much love having "word" available. So, thank you for the app, sincerely. I do wish I could afford the upgraded version.

Its free first of all! I use it on the go on the iPad and its compatible with OpenOffice, the go-to product for sit-down office work. I mean, in this day and age, why should be have to pay for word processors. Five stars to MS Word for mobile work!

Doesnt work for me, I cant run this app, cant remove it, cant do anything. Icon is always grey.

First and perhaps most important: it really works. Openning and editing word files with Apples "Page" or other programs was always a problem. Files adited on the iPad, saved with these "competing" tools never looked the same. Most important advantage: openning and editing files with comments and mark-ups. This functionality gave me a chance to say goodbye to my laptop and (still I am on the way almost everyday) saved some kilos from my bag. Disadvantage? Still certain functionalities of word are unavailable. But I am patient.

This application is realy good, i can not see no alternative option for Word at appstore.

Greate App for busy people. Much better if connected with cloud - OneDrive! Nice for GameMasters if you think about next adventure - you can always write it down!

This application works so much better than Apples pages. Thank God it doesnt use iCloud drive as that has made Pages completely unusable. Well done Microsoft!

Was a little worried at first about using on the IPAD but I must say I was impressed. The app is not as glitchy as I thought it would be so it is reliable. The is a huge amount of formatting options available and it almost has the same user interface as a PC version. I think that the only problem I have as this is just as a grad student is that the ability to insert references is cumbersome with a third party add-on. So this app just gets used for rough drafts.

Microsoft has really done a nice job with the Office apps for iPad. I generally only use Word and Excel but once you get used to the changes necessary for the touch interface, you can be amazingly productive. I wish that you could access a WebDAV server as well as the MS cloud and Dropbox. That would really round things out for my workflow. Itd be really nice if the iPad had an actual file system but thats another subject entirely.

I love having the ability to create documents in Word from my iPad Pro while Im traveling and having a few minutes to write. I agree with the person who wrote another review, though. I would love to have instructions on where to find - and how to use - some of the commands I became accustomed to with my computer and regular laptop. Other than that, though, I really love this!

Makes app totally unusable for for most business functions, unless of course you never err and need to go back to a previous draft. And you cant turn it off. Who wants a nanny app?

Microsoft Word documents I can complete on my iPhone - easy 4 Stars. I dont have to access a desktop - hands down 5 stars! Thank you.

I use Office 365 across three Apple devices, and since I do a lot of public speaking, it is very helpful to have my word processing software with me all the time. Never a problem.

I am a freelance writer and am on the road constantly. The portability of this word processor and it full features make it my ONLY word processor!

The app works very well this far!
